JFC Outreach

The experience with the team was very fun and rewarding. Providing screenings, education, and JFC appointments for the underserved population was successful and seemingly beneficial to the attendees. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a way to better serve the community, expand their perspective, and meet a diversity of folks in the population we love to provide outstanding care for.

I thoroughly enjoyed this morning at Shower Power through the Jackson Free Clinic. The medical students I met were so helpful and nice, and I was able to learn from them as well as assist them with blood pressure tests and measurements. I also enjoyed meeting so many individuals from the Jackson area. They were so nice to get to know and were very appreciative of the care we were giving them. I look forward to volunteering again through an outreach event at the JFC!
